What's happened to the tramps that used to be so prevalent in the town centre?
The last I saw of Elvis was when the police were escorting him away from Churchill Square whilst drunk, grinning and flashing his bits to all. Not a pretty sight I can assure you. That was a few years ago. I've seen the clapper guy over at Brighton Hill a few times now. I assume he must live over that way now. There is a lack of tramps and other degenerates around nowadays, (not that I'm complaining.) Maybe they've turned respectable and only get drunk at home now? Let's face it though, the pubs in town are for the kids aren't they? Over thirty and you're just out of place............ . |

'Clapper Guy' is funny. He goes in Corals now and then and is as normal as normal can be. I just think he appreciates the invention of the car and applauds them whenever he sees them....lol
I remember years ago, the tramp with the beard who we used to call 'Acker Belch'....dunno what happened to him.
